So I definitely did Christmas fic for people outside the Alliance...and I'm gonna go ahead and post it here anyway. Share the wealth and all that. Sorry, I'll stop spamming and go to bed after this, I swear. The other fics are on the way. Sasha's should be up next with Marisa's close behind. Lucia, I know it's kinda late, but .... do you want a fic?

Hello, Alliance. I hope everyone had a great >insert name of winter celebration here< and is enjoying the time off from school. I thought I'd get the ball rolling by posting the first of my Christmas fics here. It's Emily's, and it's a bit of a sucker-punch, so I apologize in advance.

Soooo ah. I'm still up for it guys! Art, music, whatever you want in exchange for whatever you'd like to give me! Specifics will be swift once figured out!

Everybody respond to this post with the days and times you are free to do Drunken Chick Flick Night, including before finals week. Also leave any suggestions for movies, drinks, and food, if you happen to have any.
Okay, so there's been talk of a fic exchange for X-mas. I know Marisa and I are both in (I am *so* over being ashamed of my fic habit), and I was curious if anyone else wanted to participate? Anyone? Anyone? Echo?

If not, then Marisa...whaddaya want?

Hey guys -

It is officially one week and two days before Marisa, Emily, and I descend upon Illinois like a flock of...things that flock in threes.

Anyway, while we don't need to have an official itinerary detailing every exact moment of the trip, it would be a good idea to figure out what we are going to do. We are definitely doing the HP thing in Naperville, and we know that we're going to Chicago at some point. However, that's all we know.

So...Jess, could you elaborate on the favorite places you mentioned that you want to show us in Chicago? Just leave it below in the comments. Same goes for anyone who has an inkling in regards to what they want to do in Chicago or elsewhere (Madison, etc). This way we can have some comment threads full of ideas about what to do. Also, if the place(s) you want to go to require paid admission, it'd be a good idea to know, so we can all anticipate how much money we are going to be spending. Hours of operation would be good, too.

Remember that we only have three days to do stuff, so it'd be helpful to suggest things that we'd all be up for doing and would not necessarily take all day to do, unless we all agree that we would want to spend all day doing whatever it is you suggest. I know that I don't want to deal with someone being pissed off because they had to be dragged along to something they didn't want to be part of in the first place, so please be honest if you don't want to go somewhere somebody else does.

Finally, Emily and Marisa: we should plan on getting together one more time, hunkering down with a map, some food, and making sure we know what we're doing when we're driving and rest stopping etc. When are you guys available? I'll make the time if you just tell me when. Marisa suggested we get together somewhere off campus for a change.

Okay, here's a quick question for the Alliance. When are you guys moving in to your apartment this August? I believe my lease starts on August 25th, and I was planning on moving in then. Are you all going to be in Argyle already or did you have a later date in mind? I'm just curious as to whether or not you'll be there when I come up or if you're already planning on avoiding me. Just a thought. Let me know.

Hahahaha...oh man...this has to be shared and seen...

Black Sheep

I'm doubtful that I'd go see it, but I've cracked up both times that I've watched the trailer. Also, shout-out to Weta Workshop!
